TADASANA - Mountain pose

Feel the earth beneath you and the sky above you.
Standing on the mat with a small space between the feet, rock forwards and backwards from the heel to the toes and find that central point where the whole foot is pressing into the mat. Bring your hips and shoulders into alignment, turn your palms to face front, lengthening through the collar bone. Take nice deep inhales and exhales. As you inhale, see if you can grow even taller and as you exhale, allow those shoulders to draw away from the ears. Find a few moments to do this any time of day, anywhere.
