A Bit About Me

Mandy Tennant

I have been practising yoga for 23 years and been a

yoga teacher for 5 years now.  Prior to that I taught dance, drama and singing where how we breathe, hold and transform ourselves and use energy is also very important.

 

In life I find that yoga calms me if I’m feeling frazzled and energises me if I’m feeling exhausted.  It inspires me to be a better person and I am naturally drawn to do more of it.  Yoga somehow gives us what we need. 

 

What I do on the mat transforms how I live my life off the mat.

 

People often ask me what is my favourite yoga pose.  Well, that will have to be Tree; calm and balanced in mind and body.  In life it helps us stand tall as we face life and all its challenges with confidence and ease.
